Rajan Template publishes practical guides for editing short-form video in CapCut. The site started because most trend tutorials online are either a silent screen recording or a link to a preset with no explanation. Neither teaches you anything you can reuse on the next trend.
What we do
We take an edit that is currently circulating and break it into its parts: the track and the section of it being used, the number and length of clips, the transition and effect choices, and the timing that makes the cuts land on the beat. Written out this way, a trend becomes a technique you can apply to your own footage instead of a one-time copy.
Our editorial approach
Guides are tested before they go up. Mobile apps change often, and an effect that exists in one CapCut version may be moved or renamed in the next, so guides carry a date and are revised when steps stop matching the app. When a feature is only available in certain regions or on a paid tier, we say so rather than leaving readers to discover it halfway through.
We also use AI-assisted drafting for parts of our written content. Every guide is reviewed and edited by a person before publication, and the editing steps themselves are checked in the app. We mention this because we would rather be direct about how the site is produced than leave readers guessing.
What we are not
We are an independent site with no affiliation to CapCut, ByteDance, Instagram, Meta, or YouTube. We do not host template files, sell templates, or provide downloads of copyrighted music. Where a guide points to a public template, the link goes to its original source.
